On October 1 2008 around 4PM, firefighters were dispatched to 107A Ave @ 138th St for an apt building on fire at the Quattro condo development site. First arriving units reported a 4 story building under construction fully involved and a 2nd alarm was requested followed shortly thereafter by the 3rd alarm. 40+ firefighters manning 11 rigs battled the blaze for several hours. At the fires peak, there was a serious concern of the site crane collapsing, but it still stands....
